Breastfeeding Class for Doulas
This basic breastfeeding course is targeted toward birth and postpartum professionals, and offers an overview of the building blocks to offer basic, evidence-based breastfeeding and lactation support. This class meets Doulas of North America (DONA) birth doula certification requirements. The instructor is a Certified Lactation Counselor and has personal breastfeeding experience with five wonderful children, totaling 9½ years. She has been practicing as a birth doula and CLC for six years and has supported thousands of families in various capacities in respect to birthing, breastfeeding and parenting.
Today Not Tomorrow Pregnancy & Infant Support Program (TNT PISP)
Today Not Tomorrow Pregnancy and Infant Support Program (TNT-PISP)- is a monthly 60 minute virtual support group for mothers of color in Dane county who are thinking of getting pregnant in the next year, currently pregnant or who recently had a baby in the last two years. During these virtual sessions, we discuss a variety of topics related to mental health, peer support, racism, peripartum care, breastfeeding and more. Please join us every second Tuesday of the month at 7pm CST.
